The Oyster Fest, Oyster Bay, NY

For over 40 years, Long Islanders and visitors from throughout the east coast participate in the region’s largest waterfront festival–The Oyster Fest! The beautiful and historic hamlet of Oyster Bay, New York, hosts an outstanding weekend of family, fun, food and festivities!

Aside from the food courts, the Oyster Fest boasts of the traditional excitement of oyster shucking and oyster eating contests, a huge arts & crafts pavilion, Newton Shows amusement rides & games, the Oyster Bay Brewing Company beer garden, and continuous live entertainment!

Run by a non-profit for the benefit of non-profits

One of the largest festivals of its kind, Oyster Fest is a partnership between the Town of Oyster Bay and the Oyster Bay–East Norwich Chamber of Commerce. Proceeds from food vendors in the park support local charities through a grant program. Each year, the festival attracts more than 150,000 visitors, with its continued success driven by the dedication of the Town, the Chamber’s Oyster Fest Committee, and the support of Long Island’s business community.
